Hey friends!
Thank you for visiting my newly re-vamped page. It means more than you know to have the love and support of so many amazing people! My hope is that I can work to be more active and conversational on my website, sharing recent shoots, photography advice, fashion tips to help plan for your shoot, blogging weddings and engagement shoots, and more! I hope you'll be a part of it all.
If you don't know me personally, I'll share some facts about me and my family so we can change that! I'm Chloe, and I was born and raised right here in Lexington, KY. I got married at the young age of 19 and had my daughter at 21. I earned a degree in English: Technical Writing before I ever decided to pursue photography as well, and still love to read, write, and edit. I am currently writing a non-fiction novel based on the life of myself and my family members, and it's been both therapeutic and exhausting!
Now for the fun facts: I have two different colored eyes and lots of freckles in the summertime. My favorite movies are P.S. I Love You, Waitress, and A Star Is Born. I love to bake, garden, travel, write, explore, and chase the sunset. I love watching The Office and Schitt's Creek, two of my "comfort-food" shows. I have a little backyard farm going on, complete with chickens, ducks, and a bunny. They keep us busy! I advocate for my daughter and her disability, and always want to encourage her to be independent! My faith and family are both very important to me.
I initially purchased professional-grade camera equipment with the goal of capturing some sweet memories of my family and daughter and the hopes of making it prettier than my iPhone camera roll! That quickly blossomed into interested friends and followers, lots of shoots, and hours upon hours of editing. I had to make the decision to either pursue this passion as a career or not pour as much time into it- and you guessed it- I chose the former. I have enjoyed learning, growing, engaging, editing, and meeting others through this small business of mine.
