Who I am

Hi friends, I'm Chloe Karnes! I am a lifestyle, portrait, and wedding photographer based in Lexington, KY, where I live joyfully and love deeply with my sweet husband Lucas and beautiful daughter Darcy. Kentucky's rolling hills, signature fences, and statuesque horses are just a handful of the reasons I love being a photographer in the beautiful bluegrass! Don't worry, though, if you're not local- I am also available and eager to travel as well! In fact, I offer discounts for travel packages. Just ask and we'll chat and make plans!

What I do

Let me tell you- it is such a joy to be able to photograph precious moments and sweet relationships (family, couple, maternity, newborn, & portrait sessions) as well as engagements and weddings. I love capturing them all, but I absolutely adore wedding days! It is an honor to get to fill whatever role is needed- photographer, hype-woman, encourager, snack-getter, arm-warmer, and so many more! It is my job to help you feel as lovely as you are, calm, comfortable, and present on your big day. Why I'm different

I hope to be unique and refreshing as your photographer because, quite frankly, I don't have a competitive bone in my body! I love meeting and collaborating with other artists, I'll root for others just as hard as I push myself, and my goal is to send you a gallery of photographs that capture the sweetness of your life and take you back to those beautiful moments together! You'll walk away from your session or day feeling beautiful, worthy, free, and joyful! That's my goal and I'll work hard to make it happen. I can't wait to meet you!
